Your PDF files
Nothing you open with this tool is uploaded. The whole imposition runs inside your browser, on your own machine, using JavaScript loaded from this site. Your file is read into memory, the new sheet is built there, and the download you get is produced locally. No copy is sent to this server or to anyone else, and none is kept.
You can verify this yourself rather than take it on trust: process one file, disconnect from the network, and process another. It keeps working.
One honest reservation: this page loads a script from this site, in the same way any web page does. You are trusting that the script does what it says — as you would on any site. The code is not obfuscated.
Storage on your device
Your tool settings — card size, sheet, layout, and the rest — are kept in your browser's local storage so that you do not have to set them again on your next visit. They never leave your machine and are not readable by this server. Forget my settings, under Advanced on the tool, deletes them.
This is storage strictly necessary to provide a feature you asked for by using the tool, and it is therefore exempt from prior consent under article 82 of the French loi Informatique et Libertés. That is also why there is no consent banner: there is nothing here to consent to.
No analytics, no tracking
This site runs no third-party analytics, no advertising, no social widgets and no tag manager. It loads nothing from any other domain — every script, stylesheet and image comes from this site — and nothing on these pages measures you. Requests are logged by the web server for security and diagnosis, as any server does; those logs contain an IP address and are kept four weeks.
The publisher counts page views from those same server logs, in aggregate. No IP address is stored in the counts: it is only used to compute an identifier hashed with a salt that changes every day, so the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next. Nothing is placed on your device, nothing runs in your browser to do it, and no data leaves this server — which is what makes this measurement exempt from prior consent under the French data protection authority's guidelines on audience measurement.
The site is served through the Cloudflare network, which sits in front of the server to
deliver pages and absorb attacks. Cloudflare therefore sees the requests for the pages and files of this
site, and may set technical cookies strictly necessary to security and delivery (for
example __cf_bm). Those are exempt from prior consent under article 82 of the French
loi Informatique et Libertés, which is why there is still no consent banner. Cloudflare acts as a

Cloudflare never sees your PDF. It is a network in front of a web server, and your file is never sent to that web server in the first place — it is read and imposed inside your browser. What passes through Cloudflare is the page itself and the scripts that do the work, nothing you open with them.
The contact form
The form at the bottom of the tool is the only thing on this site that sends anything anywhere, and it does so only when you fill it in and press Send. Your PDF is not attached to it and could not be: the form has no access to it.
- What is collected: the name you give (optional), your email address, your message, and the IP address the message was sent from.
- Why: to read your message and reply to it. Legal basis: your consent, given by sending the message (article 6.1.a GDPR).
- Where it goes: an email to [email protected], the professional mailbox of the publisher. Nothing is written to a database on this server.
- Who else sees it: nobody. It is not passed on, shared or sold.
- How long: kept in that mailbox for as long as the exchange requires, and at most three years after the last contact, unless a longer legal obligation applies.
- The IP address is included only to make abuse of the form traceable, and is not used for anything else.
There is no captcha. The form is protected by a hidden field that a person never sees and a check on how fast it was submitted — neither of which involves a third-party service or tracks you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your personal data. To exercise them, write to [email protected]; you will get an answer within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Intellectual property and licences
The code, text and design of this site are the work of the publisher and protected by copyright. Reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior permission is not allowed.
PDF reading and writing is done by pdf-lib, published under the MIT licence and used unmodified.
The cards you produce are yours. Nothing about using this tool gives the publisher any right over your designs.
Liability
This tool is provided free and as is. It has been tested, including on paper, but printing involves your own printer, driver and paper, none of which are under its control — a print dialogue set to scale the page will produce cards of the wrong size whatever this tool does. Check one printed sheet against a ruler before printing a run. The publisher cannot be held responsible for wasted paper, card stock or ink.
Reasonable care is taken over the accuracy of the information given, including the card sizes by country, which are conventions rather than published standards and are compiled from secondary sources. They may be wrong or out of date for your country. Measure a card you already have if it matters.
Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable settlement, disputes fall to the competent French courts.
